ALLOY STEEL
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Established in the late ’70s, S.S. Singla Engineering Works has grown into a multi-product steel plant producing and selling steel products like HB wires, round, square, and hex bright bars, special-shaped bright bars alloy steel. Alloy steel is a class of steel that, in addition to carbon, is alloyed with other elements like manganese, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, silicon, and boron. Less common elements include aluminium, cobalt, copper, cerium, niobium, titanium, tungsten, tin, zinc, lead, and zirconium. The process of its production depends upon the desired result but generally, alloy steel is produced by melting elements together in a furnace at over 1600°C for around 8 to 12 hours. The steel is then annealed at over 500°C in order to remove impurities and to alter the physical and chemical properties. During the next step, a mixture of iron oxides, which results from the annealing process, is removed from the surface of the steel by using hydrofluoric acid before repeating the annealing and desalinating process again. As a finishing step, the steel is melted and cast into for rolling and shaping into the final form. For the past five decades, S.S. Singla Engineering Works is considered the most-preferred alloy steel manufacturer. We focus on delivering our buyers with real value for money, which is why our alloy steel and other products come at unbeatable quality and price. We are an ISO certified company that holds skill in manufacturing and supplying best quality alloy steel to the region’s top industries, to name a few- Auto, Engineering, Oil and Gas, Energy, Defence, and Railway applications, etc.
